Grosvenor Gallery is pleased to return to Art Mumbai 2026 at Booth A09, presenting recent paintings by Olivia Fraser alongside historic views of Bombay and highlights of South Asian modernism.
Fraser’s vibrant Marigolds triptych and Sringara, both 2025, celebrate joy, love and devotion. Inspired by Holi in Vrindavan, these works combine the precision of miniature painting with radiant colour and rhythmic floral patterns.
Alongside them, two watercolours by F. Knight, dating to circa 1860, depict Chowpatty Beach and the view from Malabar Hill, offering evocative glimpses of Bombay’s coastline before its transformation into today’s metropolis.
The presentation also features works by M.F. Husain, F.N. Souza, K.H. Ara, Lancelot Ribeiro, B. Prabha, S.H. Raza and other leading South Asian artists.
