Our next exhibition South Asian Modern Art opens at the gallery on Thursday 8 June. The show contains work by some of the most important and revered artists from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, including Sadanand Bakre, MF Husain, George Keyt, Bhupen Khakhar, Dhruva Mistry, Sailoz Mukherjee, Jamil Naqsh, Ivan Peries, Lancelot Ribeiro, FN Souza, Rabindranath Tagore, Jamini Roy, Sadequain, Senaka Senanayake, and Zarina.
On Wednesday, 21 June at 6pm we will be holding a book launch and talk by David Elliott, curator of the 1982 exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford; India, Myth and Reality: Aspects of Modern Indian Art. To rsvp please contact the gallery.
