This one printed in the “Death of the Bear” pattern, catalogued by Drakard and Holdway, (Spode Transfer Printed Ware 1784 – 1833), as Pattern No. P904 – 13. The reverse with impressed Upper Case Maker’s mark, viz. SPODE 4 and underglaze blue printed Upper Case Maker’s mark, SPODE.
