The pattern is illustrated, { Plate 2 – 14 } in Michael Sack’s “India on Transferware” { 2009 }, is known to be a view entitled “Remains of an Ancient Building near Firoz Shah’s Cotilla, Delhi”, and is based on an aquatint in Thomas Daniell’s “Oriental Scenery { Part 1, 5 }” published in 1795.
