Isaac was a Nigerian soldier who served in the British Royal West African Frontier Force in Britain’s campaign in Asia during WW2. Forced to hide behind enemy lines in Burma for 9 months. He depended on the kindness of a Burmese Muslim (Rohinga) family to survive. His memoir “A Stroke of Unbelievable Luck’ presents the reflections of a rank and file African soldier on questions such as morality, world history and memory
